The butternut squash ravioli is still the best dish any of the Cactus has to offer since we first ordered it in 2012. Luckily for it hasn’t changed much, still smells amazing as soon as it arrives on your table, sauce is still amazing, and even the price has not risen drastically/unreasonably since 2012. From the HH menu: Kale avocado salad decent, chicken teriyaki bowl good but a bit heavy on the yogurt/sour cream imo, truffle fries tasted and smelled nothing like truffle btw but the aioli was good. I liked that the chicken wings came with celery sticks. Atmosphere 5/5, quiet on a weekday night.

I’ve always enjoyed their happy hour—it offers a wide selection of starters, main dishes, and cocktails. The quality remains consistent, and there are several seating options available, including dine-in, bar, patio, and upstairs. While the lighting is a bit dim, the overall atmosphere is excellent.

Great location!! Lots of corporate traffic during lunch and afternoon happy hour! Good happy hour selection. The patio is heated and covered. We sat there in January and it was perfect temperature just like sitting inside, very cosy and vibey. Would recommend sitting in the patio or the dining room. The music in the lounge area was very loud so a little hard to hear and have a conversation. So we were happy to sit in the patio. The washrooms are on the second floor and are accessible. The washrooms are very nice and clean and there is an elevator to get to the second floor if you can't take the stairs. Would highly recommend eating the salmon and the green burger and the truffle fries are a must! Can usually find a spot for a reservation same day if you check on their website. They do have a bit of a storage area if you're coming with some larger bags or things that you wanna put away just ask. Great service, they are used to large groups here.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cactus Club Cafe Bentall 5, located conveniently near Burrard Station, and it was absolutely delightful! The service was top-notch, with our server, Lois, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. The food truly stood out, with the truffle fries and prawn sushi being particular highlights. The Mediterranean bowl was also amazing, bursting with flavor and fresh ingredients. Aside from the food, the ambiance was fantastic, featuring a lovely view that made our dining experience even more special. This place has it all – great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting. It’s definitely a must-visit for anyone looking for a quality meal in the area. Highly recommend!

Cactus is always delicious when i eat there! Thai red curry bowl: Rich and various flavors, authentic, with a nice little kick. Rigatoni bolognese: fusion of italian (excellent al dente pasta!) and indian flavors (variety of herbs with a kick). Butternut squash ravioli with prawn: Buttery texture, great pairing of savouriness of the (aged cheddar?) white cheese smooth sweetness of the squash puree.

Went for lunch at Cactus with a few family members. We ordered different things and ended up having a taste of each other's food, as we always do Every dish served was very good. I had the Feenie Burger and it was delicious. Also had the Fish Tacos which didn't disappoint either. Another great thing about Cactus are their cocktails. They serve a wide variety at reasonable prices. Oh, and don't forget to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter Crunch Bar. I don't have a sweet tooth but it is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had! All in all, a wonderful experience and I will definitely go back.

This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants of all time! The atmosphere is absolutely amazing, with a lively and inviting vibe that makes every visit memorable. The food is nothing short of delicious, and the service consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel special. We celebrated New Year’s Eve here, and it was an unforgettable experience—festive, fun, and filled with great energy. If you’re visiting, I highly recommend trying the Sangria for drinks; it’s perfectly balanced and refreshing. For the meal, the Bolognese is a standout—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. I genuinely can’t wait to come back and create more wonderful memories here. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fantastic dining experience, this place is a must-visit!
